A relaxed adult couple in Westlake Village is seeking an experienced and dependable Part-Time Housekeeper/Cook to help maintain their home and provide an extra set of hands in the kitchen. This is a casual, comfortable household looking for someone warm, organized, and proactive who takes pride in keeping a home beautifully maintained.
The Principal handles all grocery shopping, so this position does not require meal planning or grocery shopping. She is simply looking for someone who enjoys cooking and can assist with food preparation, cooking, and keeping the kitchen organized.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Full-charge housekeeping and general upkeep of the residence
Detailed and deep cleaning as needed
Household laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away clothing and linens
Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas
General household organization and tidying
Keep the home consistently clean, comfortable, and guest-ready
Assist the Principal with meal and dinner preparation
Wash, chop, prep, and organize ingredients
Prepare simple, fresh meals as requested
Assist in the kitchen while the Principal is cooking
Kitchen clean-up, dishes, and maintaining an organized kitchen
Provide an extra set of hands wherever needed

Tuesday & Thursday
10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
14 hours per week
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of professional housekeeping experience in a private residence
Strong full-charge housekeeping and laundry skills
Comfortable and confident assisting with cooking and food preparation
Clean, organized, and efficient in the kitchen
Proactive with excellent attention to detail
Warm, pleasant, and comfortable working in a relaxed household
Able to work independently and take initiative
Excellent, verifiable references
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
