Our client in Pacific Palisades is seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) Nanny with extensive experience caring for newborns for their 2-month-old baby.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
Prepare and provide formula or breast milk, and introduce solid foods as advised by parents and pediatricians
Change diapers regularly and monitor for any signs of rashes or discomfort
Establish and maintain a consistent sleep schedule, including naps and bedtime routines
Bathe, dress, and groom the baby according to hygiene standards
Utilize Baby app to track and document feeding, sleeping, and health patterns; administer medications as prescribed
Engage in activities that promote cognitive and physical development, such as tummy time, sensory play, and age-appropriate toys
Monitor and report on developmental milestones and any concerns to parents
Ensure the baby’s living area is clean, safe, and organized
Wash baby’s clothes, bedding, and other items as needed
Clean and sterilize bottles, breast pumps, and other feeding equipment
Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding the baby’s well-being, routines, and any concerns
Adapt to the family’s schedule and any special requests or changes
Be knowledgeable about first aid and emergency procedures specific to infant care
Adhere to safety guidelines, including safe sleep practices and childproofing measures
Maintain strict confidentiality about family matters and personal information
Occasionally travel with the family if required
Accommodate any other tasks or requests that are reasonable and within the scope of infant care as assigned by the Principals
This is a full-time position:
Five consecutive workdays followed by three days off
Eight-hour shifts
Day shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM – This shift is for 5 days, then 3 days off (Alternating Day and Evening Shifts)
Evening shift: 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM – This shift is for 5 days, then 3 days off (Alternating Day and Evening Shifts)
Hourly DOE

Requirements:
Must be fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19, TDap, and have an annual flu vaccine
5+ years of proven experience as a nanny or caregiver with a focus on newborns and infants
Relevant certifications in infant care, first aid, and CPR required
Prior experience with baby apps is preferred
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
