Nanny & Nanny/PA (Santa Monica, CA)

Santa Monica family of 6 is seeking two full-time positions.  One for an experienced educated Nanny who can travel both domestically and internationally and one for a Nanny/Personal Assistant who can assist with house/family related tasks while children are in school.  Children’s ages: 15, 12, 10 and 2.
 Primary responsibilities (combining both positions)
  • Be proactive and organized. You plan a week ahead, not an hour ahead. You coordinate play-dates around the children’s lessons. You bring options to the parents, not questions
  • Organize Children’s rooms, clothing, activities, shopping,
  • Children’s laundry and tidying their rooms (there is a housekeeper)
  • Create, Organize, and maintain children’s joint calendars (Dr. appointments, extracurricular activities, birthday parties, etc.)
  • Organize, orchestrate, and maintain household calendar (shopping lists, repairs, various vendors)
  • Assist mom with all personal requests and appointments
  • Planning and leading meaningful activities, outings, and learning moments
  • Proactive play-date coordination, scheduled around lessons and commitments
  • Driving across LA for school, activities, and appointments (including longer routes)
  • Manage and maintain the shared family calendar; communicating changes in real time
  • Inventory management for children’s clothing, sports equipment, school supplies, and travel gear — keep things stocked, organized, and where they belong
  • Maintain household documentation in Notion (schedules, contacts, routines, household reference)
  • Night-before assistance: backpacks, sports equipment, uniforms, lesson gear
  • Conscientious and reliable. You anticipate before reacting, follow through without reminders, and own your mistakes cleanly
  • Punctual, prepared, precise in communication.
  • Comfortable with structure. You take direction with confidence and execute with ownership
  • You work well within a team. 
 These are full-time positions:
  • Flexible but considering – open to scheduling
  • Weekday options: Traditional (Tue–Sat or Thu–Sun, 12pm–8pm)
  • One weekend day per week is required, alternating with another nanny on the team
  • Competitive hourly rate

  • Must be able to travel both domestically (multiple trips throughout the year) and internationally (up to 2 times per year)
 Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience managing a family calendar, inventory systems i.e. Notion (or comparable tools like Airtable, Trello, or Google Workspace)
  • Strong, verifiable references from long-tenure positions
  • CPR/First Aid certified
  • You are super proactive and demonstrate awareness
  • Adhere to professional boundaries
  • Must have experience working with all age groups
  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years working in a large, staffed home, with verifiable references
  • Driver’s license in good standing
  • Be able to legally work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Tech savvy and proficient in English language (both reading, writing and verbally)
