pA very busy, generous, young family of five (three school-aged children), is seeking a third Nanny to join their fully staffed residence and a team of Nannies. The role will focus on providing care to a child with special needs. The family is looking for a caring, energetic, and experienced Nanny.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
Full-charge care for one, possibly two children, but also supporting all children when together (snacks, etc.)
Coordinate and execute very specific schedules, medical appointments, and activities (calendar savvy)
Maintain a clean environment, such as organizing & tidying belongings, cleaning clothes, washing dishes, etc.
Be open and receptive to direction, feedback, and critique
Flexible and adaptive to changes in procedures and schedules are of utmost importance
Willing and able to commit to continuous training to ensure the highest levels of service and care are provided
This is a Full-Time Position:
Summer (8 weeks):
Monday 8am – 8pm
Tues 8am – 7:30pm
Friday 8:30am – 9:00am (overnight)
School year:
Monday 1:30pm – 8pm
Tues 1:30pm – 7:30pm
Friday 8:30am – 9:00am (overnight)
Flexible to cover other Nannie’s shifts in the rare instances someone is ill or takes vacation
Flexible to stay the night on a dime (this would very rarely happen, but there might be a night where the parents feel another pair of hands would be required)
With the above schedule the hourly (with overtime) works out to approximately $110k per annum
Requirements:
Must have experience caring for three school-aged children
Must have at least three years of professional Nanny experience
Excellent and verifiable past work references
Must have experience with special needs (autism or on spectrum)
Must be open to being trained on giving injections, experience with Diabetes a plus (giving injections, monitoring blood sugar, etc.)
