Our client in Seattle is looking for an experienced, meticulous, and passionate local Landscaper with extensive knowledge of vegetation that thrives in the Pacific Northwest. This position requires extensive experience working for UHNW estates and properties, resorts, country clubs, hotels, etc.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Preform regular reoccurring hardscape and building cleaning
Clean and maintain water features and water feature systems
Perform daily irrigation system maintenance and upkeep
Manage and monitor Baseline programming system, Baseline mobile app and other irrigation controllers to ensure proper watering on all turf and landscaped areas
Safely apply turf and plant fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides per product label
Upkeep and maintain turf with safe operation of various sized gas-powered equipment
Properly and safely prune shrubs and low trees as needed
Execute proper plant installs in planter beds flower beds and flower pots
Assist in garden and landscape design
Pick up all trash and unwanted debris throughout all areas of property
Blow leaves and other unwanted debris out of planters and building areas using gas powered blowers
Perform weed removal by hand, garden hoe or hula hoe throughout all areas of the property.
Clean, wash, grease and perform basic upkeep of all equipment
Report any mechanical issues to Facilities Manager
Complete inventory checks and equipment inspections
Perform dusting and cobweb removal around all buildings and structures
Monitor and perform mosquito control and pests control using smoke machine and traps
Effectively communicate with Facilities Manager and Assistant Facilities Manager
Follow instructions given by Facilities Manager and Assistant Facilities manager
Complete other landscape and facility maintenance duties as assigned
Support the facilities team with event setup and breakdown
Perform other job-related functions as assigned
This is a full-time position:
Monday – Friday
6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Availability on weekends and/or evenings to assist with on-site events (OT eligible)
Salary: hourly – DOE

Requirements:
2+ years of experience in Landscaping and Garden design operations
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Extensive knowledge of vegetation that thrives in the Pacific Northwest
Experience providing landscaping services to high-net-worth individuals and residences and/or country clubs, resorts
Knowledge and passion for garden, landscape, and hard scape design
Experience with irrigation systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Irrigation Certification
Garden/Landscape Design Certification
Floral arrangement certification a plus
