Adult couple with a dog and one cat is seeking a Housekeeper with a rare combination of exceptional housekeeping skills, impeccable discretion and confidentiality, specialized knowledge of fine materials, and professional demeanor. Beyond traditional cleaning, duties often extend to handling fine linens, and maintaining a flawless presentation in a luxury environment, with a strong emphasis on adaptability and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
Provide five-star daily housekeeping service to family, guests, and associates
Clean and maintain fine surfaces, such as marble, hardwood, and designer fixtures
Care for luxury furniture, antiques, and artwork
Manage, wash, and press a designer wardrobe, including delicate fabrics like silk and cashmere
Organize closets, pack and unpack for travel, and arrange for dry cleaning
Set up and turn down service for guest rooms
Prepare spaces for entertainment and execute last-minute adjustments to meet high standards
Keep a detailed inventory of household supplies, toiletries, and linens, and place orders for replenishment
Assist with care of household pets
Assist Executive Housekeeping Manager with running errands and shopping
This is a Full-Time Position:
10:00 AM – 6:00 PM when family is in residence
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM When family is not in residence
Flexibility is important, including occasional weekend coverage as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:
Minimum of 3-5 years proven verifiable experience in similar setting cleaning luxury, high-end homes, fine finishings, delicate linens, special surfaces, and how to work around high-end artwork and antiques is required

Exceptional attention to detail
Flexibility and adaptability
Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel, squat, bend, crawl and lift, push and pull at 30 lbs.
Technical literacy
Knowledge of fine materials
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred

Flexible schedule, open to working in three different shifts, including weekends as needed
