Lovely Tarzana couple (in their 80’s) is seeking a Housekeeper to assist them with daily tasks. We placed the last Housekeeper with them 12 years ago and she will be leaving, Mr. and Mrs. are wonderful, respectful, and kind. Must be comfortable with pets (2 dogs, 3 indoor cats and 2 birds) and you do not have to take care of them.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
Full-charge housekeeping
Deep cleaning projects
Daily maintenance
Laundry to include reading labels
Some ironing
Assist in the kitchen (but no cooking) Mrs. loves to cook
Organization
Assist in creating lists for staples, food, cleaning products, personal toiletries, etc.
Shopping in person and online
Answer phone and take clear messages
Oversee repair people and vendors on property
This is a part-time position:
Monday – Friday
6-hour workday 8:30 am – 2:30 pm some flexibility to start later if needed
One day per week will be spent cleaning/laundry at the daughter’s home in Woodland Hills
Competitive hourly rate
Paid holidays and annual vacation (one week first year, two weeks each subsequent year)
Requirements:
Must have at least three years of professional work experience as a Housekeeper
Must have a driver’s license in good standing
Have a reliable car with adequate insurance
Be able to pass a thorough background check
Live within a reasonable distance from property
Have verifiable long-term professional work references
