A Marin County family is seeking a full-time Housekeeper/Home Manager with experience working in multiple homes. The ideal candidate should have a willingness and flexibility to adapt to the family’s changing needs and routines. It is essential the candidate possesses a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information. Confidentiality and discretion are of paramount importance. One cat and one dog.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
Kitchen/bedroom/bathroom cleaning, refrigerator and pantry cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and laundry care including both clothing and bedding
Deliver exceptional cleaning and organization throughout the home
Food purchasing and occasional basic food preparation – no cooking prepping only
Regular online ordering of supplies
Monitoring and caring for multiple properties
Occasional communication with maintenance and service vendors
Tracking and stocking household inventories and supplies
Typical errands may include:
Shopping for groceries and everyday household goods
Couriering mail/packages
Dry cleaning and pharmacy pickup/drop-off
Occasional shopping for cleaning supplies & implements, kitchen supplies, towels and bedding, pet supplies etc.
This is a full-time position:
Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
These hours and days may vary, but only occasionally

Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the US with a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable vehicle
Proficiency in verbal and written communication including texts, email, MS Word/Outlook; familiarity with Excel a bonus
Proficiency with online ordering and returns
Must possess the physical stamina and mobility for routine daily housework including up/downstairs.
Ability to lift and carry approximately 30 pounds, etc.
Ability to work in a house with pets
Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of requests and tasks as they arise
Healthy balance of confidence, conviction and humility
Ability to work both independently and occasionally as part of a team
Must be detail-oriented, highly organized and able to effectively track and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
An effective and proactive problem-solver, analyzing all situations thoroughly in order to anticipate problems before they arise
Successful completion of a thorough background investigation and reference checks
Strong command of the English language, Verbal, written, and reading
