Our client in Calabasas is looking for an experienced Housekeeper with amazing Laundress skills to join their team. The family is looking for someone with a no drama personality that works well with others.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Full-charge housekeeping duties with a team of 2 other Housekeepers
Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure that all rooms are tidy and well-organized
Wash, fold, and put away laundry, including clothing, towels, and bed linens
Keep detailed log of incoming and outgoing dry cleaning
Clean surfaces to ensure they are spotless
Ensure that household supplies, such as cleaning products, toiletries, and groceries, are stocked and replenished as needed
Handle delicate or valuable household items with care
Organize and maintain closets, pantries, and storage areas
Check expiration dates and refrigerated food.
Perform deep cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, silver polishing, crystal and stemware and baseboard scrubbing as needed
Report any maintenance issues or damage to household items to the EM
Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home
Sometimes feeding the 2 dogs
Get weekly COVID tests and wearing a mask while working in the home
This is a Full-Time Position:
Monday – Friday
8 am-4:30 pm
Must work on Saturday per month
$42 hourly
$500 health insurance stipend
Must be ok with getting weekly COVID tests and wearing a mask while working in the home
Requirements:
Prior experience in residential housekeeping or a similar role is preferred. 3-5+ years
Knowledge of cleaning products and proper cleaning techniques
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
Good physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Trustworthy and discreet, with respect for the homeowner’s privacy
Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
May involve working weekends or evenings depending on the employer’s needs (vary rarely)
Ability to adapt to changing priorities or tasks
Must be ok with getting weekly COVID tests and wearing a mask while working in the home
