Housekeeper (Calabasas, CA)

Our client in Calabasas is looking for an experienced Housekeeper with amazing Laundress skills to join their team.  The family is looking for someone with a no drama personality that works well with others.
Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Full-charge housekeeping duties with a team of 2 other Housekeepers
  • Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure that all rooms are tidy and well-organized
  • Wash, fold, and put away laundry, including clothing, towels, and bed linens
  • Keep detailed log of incoming and outgoing dry cleaning
  • Clean surfaces to ensure they are spotless
  • Ensure that household supplies, such as cleaning products, toiletries, and groceries, are stocked and replenished as needed
  • Handle delicate or valuable household items with care
  • Organize and maintain closets, pantries, and storage areas
  • Check expiration dates and refrigerated food.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, silver polishing, crystal and stemware and baseboard scrubbing as needed
  • Report any maintenance issues or damage to household items to the EM
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home
  • Sometimes feeding the 2 dogs
  • Get weekly COVID tests and wearing a mask while working in the home
This is a Full-Time Position:
  • Monday – Friday
  • 8 am-4:30 pm
  • Must work on Saturday per month
  • $42 hourly
  • $500 health insurance stipend
  • Must be ok with getting weekly COVID tests and wearing a mask while working in the home
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in residential housekeeping or a similar role is preferred. 3-5+ years
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and proper cleaning techniques
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Good physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Trustworthy and discreet, with respect for the homeowner’s privacy
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • May involve working weekends or evenings depending on the employer’s needs (vary rarely)
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities or tasks
  • Must be ok with getting weekly COVID tests and wearing a mask while working in the home
