Our client is looking for an additional experienced, detail-oriented, hands-on Houseman to oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of multiple residences and living space grounds, to meet the aesthetics and standards of the Principal.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

• Maintain the day-to-day cleanliness, organization, upkeep, and presentation of the residence, grounds, garages, and storage areas

• Perform routine and deep cleaning, including windows, floors, chandeliers, hard-to-reach areas, and removal of interior/exterior cobwebs

• Maintain outdoor living areas, including furniture, BBQ areas, patios, terraces, hardscape, and pool cover

• Conduct daily visual inspections of the residence and property structures

• Report maintenance concerns to the Facilities Department

• Assist with maintenance logs

• Monitor lighting, batteries, household supplies, and inventory; report or replace items as needed

• Coordinate with gardeners, landscapers, and other property service providers as necessary

• Assist the Housekeeping team with polishing fine china, crystal, silver, and specialty household items

• Assist with meal service, table settings, parties, special events, and holiday décor setup/breakdown

• Assist with moving furniture and artwork and assembling household items as needed

• Manage trash, recycling, and compost removal.

• Assist with developing and completing daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual household task schedules

• Handle errands, dry cleaning, grocery shopping, and household/personal purchases as needed

• Provide occasional support at additional family properties

• Perform other household and property-related duties as requested

This is a full-time position:

• M-F when owner not in residence

• Weekend hours expected when Owner is in residence

• $43+ hourly DOE

• Daily lunch provided, either made by Chef or ordered in

Skills and Work Habits/ Qualifications:

• Experience working in housekeeping for large, multi-staffed homes, with a history of longevity in each position

• Hands-on cleaning experience

• Meticulous sense of organization and attention to detail

• Exceptional references

• Experience with smart home systems and appliances

• Tech savvy – able to email, text and use a computer for basic tasks (Mac preferred)

• Possess valid unrestricted driver’s license, adequate vehicle insurance coverage, and vehicle for use in performing job duties and travel among the Properties

• Must be able to work on weekends or holidays, as needed; however, work schedule is typically Monday to Friday

• Be prompt and on time to all meetings, scheduled work and all established timelines

• Team player and great communicator who is not afraid to ask questions and is open to constructive criticism

• Flexibility, integrity and creative problem-solving skills

• Must have and express a positive approach to problems and situations that may arise

• Must be professional in appearance and demeanor at all times

Physical Demands and Requirements:

• Able for full-time active work in and around the residence and grounds

• Able to reach, bend, stoop, lift, carry, move typical household items, e.g., furniture

• Able to use stairways, household ladder or step stool

• Able to operate household laundry equipment, cleaning equipment, kitchen appliances

• Able to use standard computer, telephone and related equipment for communication and recordkeeping

• Able to provide limited on-call availability and responsiveness during non-business hours

• Able to travel without personal assistance

• Authorized to work legally in the US and be willing to undergo an in-depth background investigation
