House Manager (Woodland Hills & Ventura, CA)

We have a wonderful client who is looking for a detail-oriented, experienced, and hands-on House Manager for her homes in Woodland Hills and a beach home in Ventura, CA. 
Duties to include, but not limited to:
  • Oversee all household operations and upkeep
  • Schedule and supervise vendors (gardeners, cleaners, handymen, pool techs, HVAC, pest control)
  • Perform regular walkthroughs to identify issues before they become problems
  • Coordinate home repairs, renovations, and routine maintenance
  • Manage home systems (HVAC, security, landscaping schedules, pool, appliances)
  • Household organization
  • Maintain inventory of supplies (cleaning products, pantry, linens, toiletries)
  • Oversee household cleaning standards and organization
  • Manage closets, storage rooms, and seasonal rotations
  • Ensure the home is always guest-ready
  • Hire, train, and supervise Housekeepers
  • Maintain staff schedules and performance standards
  • Build relationships with trusted vendors and contractors
  • Review and approve invoices
  • Administrative & personal support
  • Manage household calendar
  • Plan and oversee events, dinners, gatherings
  • Coordinate travel logistics (packing, shipping, home preparation during absences)
  • Handle bill payments, budgeting, and expense tracking
  • Manage vehicles (detailing, registration, maintenance)
  • Travel between residences when needed
  • Light housekeeping and light cooking a plus, but not required
This is a full-time position:
  • Monday – Friday
  • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM – Employer will be flexible with start/end times
  • Ability to stay late if needed for an event or function
  • $125+ annually
  • Insurance stipend
Requirements:
  • Must have at least 3 years of professional work experience as a House Manager
  • Excellent and verifiable past work references
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US
  • Must have valid driver’s license in good standing and/or reliable transportation
  • Fluent in Spanish is a huge plus, but not required
