Our client is seeking a Domestic Couple to manage and maintain their beautiful second home that they visit a few times a year.  Initial interviews will be conducted via video, then an in-person meeting and a visit to the property. 

While Owners are in residence:

• Full-charge daily housekeeping (must be meticulous and detail-oriented)

• Laundry (pressing when required)

• Prepare all meals (must be a good cook)

• Ability to execute formal and informal dinner parties

• Ability to serve meals and prepare multiple courses

• Grocery and household shopping

• Errands as required

• Keep organized list of items running low for repurchase

• Organization

• Drive Owners, if required

All year round:

• Check the 20-acre property to for any repairs needed

• Maintain the livable area ½ – 1 acre

• Maintain all gardens, including vegetable garden

• Mow lawn in spring/summer

• Snow removal in winters

• Recognize when repairs need to be performed and advise Owners

• Maintain a current list of vendors in the area

• Supervise all vendors that enter property for repairs

• Ability to do light maintenance of interiors/exteriors as needed for 10K square foot residence

 This is a Full-Time, Live-In Position:

• When owners are in residence they expect a six-day workweek with Sundays off

• When owner not in residence a Monday-Friday workweek will be expected

• Two weeks annual paid vacation (to be approved in advance)

• Furnished 2-bedroom 1 bath private apartment provided

• Utilities, cable TV, internet, and phone provided

• Automobile provided for work-related driving

• Food allowance

• Health insurance (medical/dental/vision)

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years reference in similar role

• Must have worked as a couple previously

• Good command of the English language (verbal and written)

• Familiar with all current IT and technology in order to set up and troubleshoot

• Be able to pass a thorough background check

• Must be drug-free

• No small children or pets
