An adult couple in Thousand Oaks is seeking an experienced, professional Full-Time Housekeeper to care for their private residence. The home is a relaxed, informal environment with no children or pets.
The ideal candidate is an experienced, detail-oriented housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining a beautifully cared-for home. The Principals enjoy cooking and would appreciate someone who is comfortable assisting with food preparation and preparing an occasional meal.
The residence is maintained free of perfumes, dyes, and chemical irritants. Candidates must be comfortable following the household’s product and cleaning guidelines.
Responsibilities
Full-time housekeeping and daily upkeep of the residence
Deep cleaning as needed
Laundry and linen care, with minimal ironing
Maintain an organized and well-stocked pantry
Complete household organization projects, including drawers, cabinets, closets, and other areas as requested
Grocery shopping and household errands
Assist with food preparation
Prepare occasional simple meals
Maintain household supplies and replenish items as needed
Handle special household projects and tasks as requested
Schedule & Compensation:
Monday – Friday
10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
$40 per hour + benefits
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of verifiable experience and references in a similar private residence role
Valid driver’s license in good standing
Reliable personal automobile
Ability to pass a background check
Reasonable command of the English language, including the ability to communicate effectively and read written instructions and household to-do lists
Comfortable working in a fragrance- and irritant-conscious home
