Personal/Household Assistant (Encino and Brentwood, CA)

An adult home with cats is seeking an experienced, organized, efficient, team-player to join the existing household staff at her two properties.  This position reports directly to the Principal and the Estate Manager.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • All calendaring, scheduling, travel arrangements for Principal and family
  • Schedule and calendar medical appointments, medication maintenance and refills
  • Household staff oversight, training and scheduling
  • Check and answer all emails and voicemails
  • Clean and tidy up when housekeepers are not available
  • Maintain all household and personal supply logs and lists
  • Daily house walk-throughs with checklist
  • Troubleshoot electronics – tv, cameras, computers, iPhones, iPads, Apple computer and software tech
  • Vendor coordination and management
  • Occasional event planning
  • Maintain petty cash log
  • Wardrobe maintenance, organization, dry cleaning and styling
  • Run various errands such as grocery shopping, gift shopping
  • Oversight of automobile maintenance, service, cleaning and fueling
  • Assist Principal with arrival and departures; ensure car is clean, fueled and all necessary items in car
  • Drive Principal when requested
  • Cooking – assist with meal prep 
  • Pet care for cats, feeding, walking
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities for other tasks and projects as needed
This is a full-time position:
  • Monday – Friday
  • 10 am-6:30 pm
  • Must be available to answer text or email 7 days a week
  • Flexible for extra days when needed and some holidays
  • Available on weekends when needed
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills
  • Must be tech-savvy and have experience working with smart home systems, MAC, Excel and electronics
  • Prioritization and time management skills
  • Ability to problem solve from start to finish in a timely manner
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • 3-5 years of prior experience as a House Manager/Executive or Personal Assistant
  • Must have excellent, verifiable past professional references
  • Background check required
  • Must possess the ability to read, write and speak English in order to communicate effectively
  • Bilingual- English and Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Able to work in two properties : ENCINO AND BRENTWOOD
