Estate Manager/Director of Properties (Beverly Hills, CA)

High-profile couple is seeking an energetic, experienced, professional Estate Manager/Director of Properties to manage their home and support their busy lives (three older children).  Main residence in Beverly Hills (20K sq ft) and secondary residence in Santa Barbara. The Estate Manager will be responsible for overseeing the general operation of the home, managing staff, vendors and anything/anyone that enters or exits the property.  The Estate manager must be ready to pivot to different needs throughout the day and be extremely resourceful in solving problems and situations.
 Duties to include, but not limited to:
  • Oversee all aspects of maintaining “5-star” property
  • Manage staff (3 housekeepers, houseman, landscaping crew, etc.) with cheerful and professional attitude
  • Lead all house projects including landscaping and home improvement
  • Maintain maintenance schedule, manage vendors and sourcing new vendors
  • Ensure owners and family members are prepared for all events/travel/meetings
  • Coordinate with business manager on bill paying, invoices and staff payroll
  • Get approval from Employer on proceeding with invoices before submitting for processing
  • Troubleshoot A/V equipment, operate Crestron, internet issues and theatre systems.
  • Familiar with all technology and smart home systems
  • Oversee moving furniture and artwork
  • Keep and maintain on going lists of repairs, projects, etc.
  • Regularly update household manual
  • Event management – plan, organize and seamlessly orchestrate small to large events
  • Maintain inventory systems for food, supplies, etc.

  • Experience working in UHNW properties handling and caring for fine arts, furniture, collectibles, fabrics, clothing, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of MAC and MS office
  • Bachelor Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience as a House/Estate Manager
  • Clean background check and driving record
 Schedule & Salary:
  • Monday – Friday generally 8am – 4pm
  • Ability to work nights and weekends, at times, remotely
