Our client is seeking a service and detail-oriented, aesthetically-minded, self-directed, hands-on, obsessively-organized professional who will be responsible for day-to-day upkeep of the residences. This position reports to the Household Manager and encompasses housekeeping services, meal service, and pet care. The role requires a world-class commitment to providing “6-Star” service to ensure uncompromising resident and guest experiences, with extreme schedule flexibility necessary for a dynamic environment. Travel to other properties for extended durations, specifically summer support in New York is a requirement.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Housekeeping/organization:
Perform and maintain daily housekeeping service including inspections of the property to ensure all areas are clean, organized and maintained
Utilize daily/weekly/monthly housekeeping checklists to physically complete all checklist items
Remain committed to maintaining rigorous organization standards including inventory/supply lists and project/task lists
Utilize the Service Manual to ensure world-class capability in cleaning, food preparation, and service
Laundry & linen care
Steam Primary bedroom linens daily
Launder, de-lint, fold, hang and put away clothes for Principal and guests as needed
Routinely organize closets
Change linens according to the bedding schedule and standards
Reconcile laundry with outside cleaners
Grocery & errand shopping as needed
Maintain the integrity of household art and rare/unique/collectible items in conjunction with all staff members
Serve as the “aesthetic” eyes of households focused on preserving the aesthetic and architectural integrity.
If something is out of place, report it and resolve it
Perform daily inspections of the properties, reporting issues to the House Manager
Service:
Meal Service:
Assist in the kitchen with meal preparation
Set table setting based on the needs of the meal provided by the Household Manager
Serve and cleanup after family meals, business meetings, and special events
Serve appetizers, drinks, and dinner for formal and informal dinners, parties, or at-home meetings
Guest Reception and Concierge Services:
Receive guests upon arrival as requested
Packing and unpacking as requested
Anticipate needs and provide “6-sStar” hotel-level services for the guests
Laundry, steaming, and ironing as requested
Carefully and clearly answer the telephone following all service standards and procedures
Greet and cater to guests according to household service standards and procedures
Principal and Guest Care:
Assist with wardrobe management as requested
Clothing and grocery shopping as requested
Driving; Run errands as requested
Anticipate needs and provide “6-star” hotel-level services for the Principal
Pet Care:
Care for family animals and their needs determined by House Manager
Monitor specific diet and pre-approved snacks as requested
Manage medication administration and daily checklist as requested
Daily walks, occasional grooming as needed
This is a Full-Time Position:
40-hour work week to multiple with opportunity for overtime
Schedule must be flexible to cover 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7AM to 11PM
Required to work 2 weekends per month
Must be willing to travel to New York for entire summer
Must be willing to live-in while traveling as-needed
$40+ hourly

Requirements:
Hospitality experience with highest commitment to excellence
At least three years of the highest-level Housekeeping, maintenance and serving experience
Cooking skills
Bi-lingual a plus
Knowledge of emergency procedures is helpful
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds
Mechanically and technology savvy
Service orientation at highest-level of attentiveness. No job too menial to handle (e.g., always ensure that Principal is avoiding jobs that can be accomplished by others)
