Seeking a “no task too big/small attitude”. Please have experience working in a private home environment. Household Manager will provide leadership and oversight for the household team while working alongside them. Taking direction from the Principal and Director of Family Services. Oversee key services (housekeeping, laundry and wardrobe management, shopping, household inventory control, errand running, floral arrangements, gift management and personal and corporate event) support. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, dependable and a consummate team player, creative, conscientious problem solver, discreet, can work independently and as a team member. ONLY Local candidates will be considered for this position.
Duties to include, but are not limited to:
Coordination of household team, planning for and implementing organizational home projects
Ensure smooth delivery of daily services as expected by Family.
Participating in light housekeeping/general tidying, holiday decorating, may be asked for brief transitional child care coverage
Oversee third party contractors/vendors
Provide daily updates to the Principal each morning
Coordinate with admin counterparts in the management of a dynamic calendar of professional and personal engagement for the Principal
Provide the Principal with seamless communication and planning for personal, property and household needs
Supervise the household team including housekeeping staff, family assistant, child caregivers, seasonal staff and other various Vendors. Be willing to cover for these positions if a team member is absent
Assist with planning, set up, organization of seamless orchestration of small to large scale events hosted at Family properties, corporate facilities and elsewhere as requested
