House Manager/Personal Assistant (Seattle, WA)

Our client in Seattle is looking for a skilled and dedicated person that is looking to make a long-term commitment and will provide hands-on management for a large home and personal support to the Principal.  Candidate will be a highly-organized and detail-oriented professional who has experience managing a large property.  This is a sophisticated adult home and we are requiring someone who has experience in a similar setting. 
 
Responsibilities are varied and are expected to evolve over time, but include:  
 
Household Management and Maintenance (50%):
  • Effectively coordinate and oversee vendors to ensure work is being completed efficiently and to high standards
  • Ensure all seasonal household maintenance is completed
  • Maintain household on a daily basis, including cleaning and tidying
  • Complete assigned errands/shopping (reliable transportation is a must)
Assistant duties (50%):
  • Purchase and expense reconciliation
  • Manage all incoming packages
  • Manage household accounts, including billing and invoicing
  • Assist with trip preparation for Principal
  • Other assistant duties and errands with occasional work in Principal’s office location
This is a full-time position:
  • Salary DOE plus full benefit package
Qualifications
  • Must live in the Seattle area
  • Fine wine and food knowledge a plus
  • At least three years of professional experience in a large sophisticated estate
  • Must have stellar references
  • Microsoft Office skills such as Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Strong spoken and written communications skills
  • Highly-organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to anticipate household needs and willingness to perform daily graces
  • Can-do attitude and willingness to do what is needed to make the household run effectively
  • Self-directed worker with strong intuition
  • Adaptable and flexible individual who quickly thinks on their feet
