Our client is seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance person to join their existing team. You will work as part of the hospitality team and be responsible for hands-on maintenance tasked, repairs and for preserving the value and assets of multiple residential estates. The role requires a high-level of discretion and ability to work in a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment for all. Please live within a reasonable daily driving distance. Employer may consider a small relocation stipend.
Duties to include but are not limited to:
Conduct routine interior and exterior inspections of estates, ground and vehicles to ensure proper operation, maintenance and cleanliness
Track, recommend and schedule service and/or repairs as directed
Assist in oversight of all property maintenance and initiatives to ensure in-scope on time delivery within budget parameters
Partner with subject matter experts and contract vendors (plumbers, electrician, landscaping crew) etc.
Schedule, document and investigate ongoing preventative maintenance of all equipment on property to ensure proper operation, safety and longevity
Ensure that all advanced household systems are checked and tested regularly (appliances, A/V, HVAC, Lighting, gates garage doors and other equipment
Maintain multiple inventories and stock to ensure quick replacement (light bulbs, batteries, filters and other consumable items)
Hospitality mindset oriented, collaborates with household and other teams to take initiative to improve processes
Maintains strict confidentiality and privacy to protect privacy of Principals and guests
Required to reconcile company provided credit card transactions and reports
Schedule and Salary:
Generally, Monday – Friday when Owner not on property
Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays (especially when Owner in residence)
Must be available on call when needed
Domestic travel may be required to other properties
Salary commensurate with experience ($40-43 hourly)

Requirements and skills:
May oversee daily work activities of contract staff and/or vendors but does not directly manage
5+ years of experience in Facilities Maintenance, construction or comparable trade
Knowledge of all building trades/strong solving skills for fixing maintenance issues
Proficient using MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel a plus)
Experience working with smart home systems
Ability to interact appropriately with colleagues
Ability to interpret and present clear, accurate and concise written and verbal communications
Ability to solve problems and/or escalate issues that require higher level of approval
Medium to heavy work: exerting 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently and 20 pounds constantly
Specific vision abilities: close vision of 20 inches or less, distant vision of 100 feet, night vision, peripheral vision, depth perception.
May be required to climb tall ladders or balance, crouch, squat kneel or stoop or crawl
Regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions
Exposure to moving mechanical parts, work in high precarious places; exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock
