Estate Manager (Scottsdale, AZ)

Seeking an experienced Estate Manager to oversee the daily household operations, staff and property management for a private family’s expanding residential portfolio. This includes a 60,000+ sq ft large primary residence and extended family residences in the area. 
 
Duties to include (but not limited to):
  • Focus Managerial attention on three key division (Culinary, Household Operations and Maintenance)
  • Manage Housekeepers, Laundresses, Household Assistants, Butlers, Chefs, IT Specialists, Engineering Managers, numerous Vendors and Contractors
  • Refine the service delivery processes throughout the residence
  • Oversee household operations to ensure that every department and residence has a consistent feel and that the team delivers exceptional service
  • Work well with other Leadership teams, Personal Assistants and F&B Director to perform and execute small and large events
  • Responsible for all assets’ documentation and inventory control, including furnishings, carpets, finishes, fixtures, artwork and personal and household supplies
  • Oversee and set-up of online accounts, collaborate with tech team members to troubleshoot test AV/IT equipment and systems
  • Assist the Family Office in assembling annual home and property expenditure budgets, managing, tracking and auditing expenses
  • Ensure preventative maintenance is in place
  • Serve as the point of contact between the residence staff and Principals. Supporting the Director of Properties
  • Conduct daily/weekly staff meetings
  • Support Sr Director of HR in recruiting and hiring for the household team.  Develop new hire training programs and orientations.
Schedule:
  • Based at primary location in Scottsdale, travel required
  • Hours/days may vary depending on scheduling needs and may include some evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Relocation, if required will be provided
  • Compensation DOE plus full benefits and bonus opportunity
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory
  • Minimum of seven-plus years’ experience in high end service and management in private residence of resort setting
  • Experience in managing large teams greater than 30 staff members
  • Deep experience in managing diverse service teams (Chefs, Housekeeping staff, Housemen, etc.)
  • Experience in maintaining a private employer’s confidentiality, safety, security and privacy
  • Smoke and Drug free environment
  • Covid vaccination is encouraged
  • Must pass thorough background, drug screen and an online assessment
