Estate Manager (Los Angeles, CA)

Our client in LA is seeking a polished, poised and professional Estate Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their large, fully-staffed main residence as well as their second, out-of-state residence.
 
Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Manage vendors and independent contractors
  • Oversee construction, home projects, maintenance/repairs and major projects
  • Review household spending
  • Oversee budgets/invoices
  • Maintain home systems (security/alarms/password management/AV/ HVAC)
  • On-board, instruct, supervise and review off-board of household employees
  • Manage vehicle maintenance, insurance and cleanliness
  • Prepare and train in the event of a natural disaster or emergency
This is a full-time position:
  • Monday – Friday 10am – 6pm

Requirements:
  • Must have managed an Estate of 15K sq. ft. or larger
  • Must have experience managing multiple residences
  • Must have experience overseeing a staff of at least 5
  • Prior experience within hospitality or yachting a plus, but not required
  • At least 3 years’ experience with the same employer within the last five years
  • Must be able to travel to and manage Principals’ second out-of-state residence
  • Must have flexible schedule, be available for weekends/holidays as needed for special events and/or extensive projects at either residence 
  • Bilingual preferred but not required
